Modeling Update
To those who read the last newsletter, thanks for sticking with the Keanimusic tribe!
In this month's newsletter, you'll get an update on the modeling progress for Keanimusic.
Last month, in November's newsletter, I laid out the plan for the production development of Keanimusic. We're currently in Phase 1 (set modeling), which will probably stretch to March 2024.
So far, there are three (3) sets that modeling has begun on.
Steampunk Lasers
Sunset Tower
Mars Vibes
But guess what? One of them is done! I'll give you a few seconds to guess which one has been completed.
Ok. I'll tell you now.
The finished song is: Steampunk Lasers!
This is big because it means that now, one of the songs can be animated whenever.
I've also been working on figuring out the UX for the Blu-Ray (i. e. menus, case cover, disc labels, etc.)
There will be more concept art next month (January 2024).
Another thing: In one of the Animusic directors commentaries, it was mentioned that they used something called "off the shelf Max" and a lot of people thought they said "Macs", like the computers.
Well, what do I create my stuff on, including this website?
That's right, it's a Mac. (-book laptop.)
The only issue with this workflow is that there won't be much content or any really announcement-worthy stuff from Keanimusic for a while. And that is not good. So, I promise, somewhere during Phase 4, there will be suddenly a lot of very cool, juicy stuff here on the website. And yes, there will be a monthly update every single month without fail until this project gets done.
Stay tuned for more Keanimusic news.
See you in 2024!
